 Christophe Pillet
Born in 1959, Christophe Pillet has been living and working in Paris since 1988. He graduated from Nice’s Arts Décoratifs College in 1985 and became “Master of Domus Academy” in 1986. In 1993, he started to develop his activity independantly.
He engages in many fields : product and furniture design, interior decoration, architecture, scenography and artistic direction. He creates furniture and objects for Cappellini, Daum, JC Decaux, Driade, Ecart International, L’Oréal, Lacoste, Moroso, Porro, Renault, Serralunga, Shiseido, Shu Uemura, Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, Whirlpool… He also realises interior architecture for boutiques, hotels and restaurants such as Hôtel Sezz in Paris.

Lines fluidity, composition with light upon slick layout, white or colorful and the absence of any excess element, his style, tinted with elegance and sobriety goes straight to the essential while never being stern.

Christophe realises exhibition scenographies, such as the Hugo Pratt retrospective that took place in Sienna, Italy, in 2005.
He has been involved in many collective exhibitions : « Memphis » in 1988 in Milan, the ‘Musée des Arts Décoratifs’ in Paris in 1989 and 1994, « Les capitales du design » and « 20 ans de Création en France » at Centre Georges Pompidou in 1991 and 97, « Proximus Motion Signs » in 2003 in Brussells, « Domeau & Pérès 10 ans de Design » by French designers in 2005…
Several dedicated exhibitions have also taken place : « Via carte blanche » in Paris in 1993, Salon du Meuble 1994 designer of the year, « Parismix » in Osaka in 1997, Ecole Supérieure d’Art et de design in Reims in 2000, launching Artelano in Singapour and Tokyo in 2002.

Lately, he realised the interior architecture for the Catherine Malandrino boutique in New-York in the MeatPacking district, the Sony show-room in Paris in 2006 and the Parisian Shu Uemura flagship boutique late
Amongst current projects are villas in Marocco, a Japanese restaurant in Paris, further Catherine Malandrino boutiques in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, Hotel rooms and Spa in Provence, shops in Hong Kong, Dubai and Porto Cero.
Will be showing at Milan Design Week in April 2008 furniture for EMU, Pallucco, Porro , AV Mazzega, Tacchini, Frag, Fornasarig, Modus … and Neology
